Configure registration approval modes, the public attendee directory, the pre-publish checklist, and the event deletion safety rules.

Registration approval, status & attendee directory

Set the attendee approval mode and the networking directory visibility.

Component / settingFunction & guidelines
Event statusShows the publication state (e.g. Published). To switch it (Public / Draft / Cancelled), use the top-right action bar.
Registration approvalChoose 1 of 3 modes · Auto Approve: approved instantly on submit · Email Confirmation: attendee confirms by email (admins can confirm too) · Manual Approval: entries stay Pending until an admin approves/rejects.
Attendee directoryCheck "Show attendees list to participants" so approved delegates can view each other's networking profiles in "My Events".
Save settings buttonClick the green Save button (bottom right) to apply all the changes.

Publish Readiness Checklist & Event Lifecycle Rules

Check data completeness before publishing, and understand the difference between Cancelling an event (Published) vs. Deleting an event (Draft only).

Publish checklistAutomatically verifies completeness based on event type (e.g. Basic information, Agenda schedule, Ticket setup). Meeting all items ensures a complete public page.
Cancel Event sectionAvailable for Published events. Click "Cancel event" to open the cancellation dialog, notify registered attendees via email, and block new registrations.
Event Deletion RuleThe "Delete event" option is only available when the event status is Draft. Published events cannot be deleted; they must be Cancelled to preserve registration history.

Cancel Event Confirmation Dialog

Clicking "Cancel event" opens a modal displaying warning information, letting you provide a reason, choose a notification email template, and type the event name to confirm.

Cancellation reasonRequired reason input (minimum 10 characters, or 30 characters if cancelling within 24 hours of start).
Email template & languageSelect the cancellation notice template and target locale to preview and send to attendees.
Type name to confirmType the exact event name in the confirmation field to enable the final "Confirm Cancellation" button.

Cancelled Event State & Restoring as Draft

Once cancelled, the card displays the event as cancelled and provides a "Restore as draft" button. Reopening moves the event back to Draft status (leaving the public site), but cancelled registrations and invitations remain cancelled and cannot be undone.
